French Pro D2: Big Physical Lock (5)

A top French Pro D2 club is looking to a recruit a big physical Lock (5) for the 2026-27 season.

Profile sought:

• Height 1.98m+ / good athletic build, strong in the air and physical presence in contact
• Reliable lineout operator — both as a jumper and in reading opposition throws
• Ball-carrying threat with go-forward in tight exchanges, and a strong defensive workrate around the fringes
• Solid scrummaging technique, comfortable binding at either lock position
• Leadership qualities and ability to organise the lineout/maul
• Good discipline and work ethic in training, adaptable to a demanding physical programme

Level Required:

Players must be currently playing top level rugby, such as:

• Pro D2 – previous Top 14/Pro D2 minutes a plus
• URC
• English Premiership
• Super Rugby Pacific
• NPC
• Nationale
• Or Equivalent Experience
