Oval15 is proud to announce Edward Shekete’s signing to Hawick RFC!
The powerhouse prop joins the Scottish Arnold Clark Premiership side for the 2025/26 season 🤝🏽
Edward Shekete is an Irish citizen with German roots and a deep passion for the game. His dedication to continuous improvement and ability to perform under pressure make him a reliable and impactful player on any team.
Internationally, Shekete has proudly represented Germany U20 in two European Championships, proving himself on the elite stage and gaining valuable experience against top-tier competition.
The powerful forward has previously represented the Ealing Trailfinders Academy and Brunel University, where he continued to develop his skills and compete at a high level.
Shekete also previously played for Tonbridge Juddians RFC, where he demonstrated his physicality, strength and technique as a prop. He initially joined the team on loan during the 2022-23 season and then signed for the following season, playing five games in National 2 East. This experience showcased his adaptability and commitment to embracing new challenges in competitive environments.
