Tiaan du Preez is a loosehead prop who can also cover hooker.Du Preez played school rugby for Paarl Boys’ High, featuring as a loosehead prop. After school, he represented Durbanville Rugby Club U20 and earned selection for Western Province U19 in 2023.He then gained international experience between 2023 and 2025 with Stade Aurillacois Espoirs in France, playing at both loosehead prop and hooker. He returned to South Africa for the remainder of 2025, representing Durbanville-Bellville (Durbell). He also played the start of the 2026 season in a Romanie for CS Rapid Bucuresti. Du Preez is currently playing for Rose United Rugby Clubin the Boland League, continuing to build his experience in different rugby environments.
