Liam Cyster is a versatile back capable of playing fullback, wing and centre. A dangerous attacking player, he combines pace, acceleration and footwork with the ability to beat defenders and create scoring opportunities. He is also a committed defender, strong under the high ball and a reliable goal-kicker.
Cyster scored 174 points, including eight tries, in 15 first-team matches during the 2025 season. He has continued to make an impact in 1st XV rugby in 2026, scoring three tries and providing one assist in his first three starts.
His previous achievements include finishing as Hamilton RFC U20A’s top points scorer with 162 points and being part of the Stadio Sabres squad that won the 2023 USSA Sevens B League and earned promotion to the A League.
