Manuel Torres is an experienced scrumhalf and game driver who brings strong game management and leadership. His strengths include quick passing, putting teammates into space, attacking the line, defensive commitment and clear communication. A versatile back, he is also capable of playing inside centre and flyhalf and is a passionate, resilient and team-first competitor.

Torres was player-coach at Jaén Rugby during the 2025-26 season and previously played First Division rugby for Old Resian Club from 2015 to 2023, winning the Torneo Regional del Litoral in 2019. He also represented his province at U16 and U17 levels.

In 2018, Torres completed the International Rugby Academy of New Zealand High Performance Players’ Course. His physical conditioning is highlighted by a score of 18.2 in the Yo-Yo Test.
