Xander Jordaan is a South African front-row forward who primarily plays hooker and can also cover loosehead prop. His strengths include scrum stability, lineout throwing, tight-channel ball-carrying, aggressive defence and breakdown work.
Jordaan is part of the 2026 Rugby Travel Academy programme, competing in the Blue Bulls Carlton Cup U20 League. He has captained the RTA 2nd XV and made selected 1st XV appearances, including as captain. An RTA tour to France provided exposure to professional club pathways at ASM Clermont Auvergne, US Montauban and Provence Rugby.
Previously, Jordaan made approximately 50 1st XV appearances for Piketberg High School, captaining the side in 2025. He has also represented the SA Rhinos on tours to Ireland, Italy and the Netherlands.
His honours include Player of the Tournament, Best Forward, multiple Man of the Match awards and tour captain recognition.
