Oval15 is proud to announce the signing of Marlo Weich to Getxo Artea in Spain!
The South African has arrived in Spain, and has already made an instant impact to the Spanish side.
Weich is a flyhalf known for his exceptional passing ability, quick hands, keen vision and accurate kicking game. He also has experience playing Fullback, Outside centre and Wing earlier in his career.
Marlo represented Western Province at the U18 Academy Week. He was then selected for the WP U21 squad and the WP Sevens team. Weich joined the SWD Eagles in 2017 and contributed to their Currie Cup First Division victory in 2018. In 2019, he played for Enisey STM in Russia, followed by a stint with Metallurg.
He returned to the Rainbow Nation with SWD Eagles in 2023, and has now made his way to the Iberian nation.
