Oval15 is delighted to announce the placement of Youri Rost at SC Graulhetois in France!
The talented young scrumhalf will be joining the French Nationale 2 club’s Espoirs side.
Youri Rost is technically strong with an accurate pass and box kick. He is secure in the tackle with strong positioning and communication in defence. He has high game speed and good decision-making under pressure, and is excellent at reading the game, anticipating play and leading team structure.
Rost has playing senior-level rugby for Castricumse Rugby Club in the highest Netherlands division, having debuted at 17. He was selected for the Aspire Academy (2024–25), a high-performance programme offering weekly elite training in skills, strength, conditioning and mental preparation.
Rost represented Netherlands U17 in the summer of 2024, gaining international experience and exposure to top-level coaching. He also played for Rugby Club Amstelveen, where he became national junior champion and developed leadership and tactical insight.
